Raventós i Blanc Textures de Pedra, Blanc de Blancs 2017

Raventós boasts one of the longest historical traditions of any family-owned winemaking estate anywhere in the world, stretching back to the year 1497. Since the 19th century, Raventós has been regarded for producing some of the finest traditional-method sparkling wines outside of Champagne. They are the crema of Cava producers, producing vintage wines from the indigenous Catalonia varietals, always from a single place, and a single vineyard.

About the Wine: The Textures is a blanc de noirs (or blanc de negres), made from the red grapes of the region. This 2017 vintage wine was aged for 42 months, creating a heady bouquet of honeysuckle, exotic orange fruit, ginger and herbs.
