Flowers was founded by Walt and Joan Flowers, nursery owners from Pennsylvania, with a 321-acre purchase. In 1991, 29 acres of vines were planted at Camp Meeting Ridge Vineyard. Flowers was one of the pioneers of Western Sonoma Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, growing grapes in the fog-laden cool climate of the coastal region. The Pinot Noir has flavors and aromas of bright cherry, strawberry, and a supple palate with a long, smooth finish.
