Flowers was founded by Walt and Joan Flowers, nursery owners from Pennsylvania, with a 321-acre purchase. In 1991, 29 acres of vines were planted at Camp Meeting Ridge Vineyard. Flowers was one of the pioneers of Western Sonoma Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, growing grapes in the fog-laden cool climate of the coastal region. The Chardonnay has a medium body, balanced acidity, a hint of integrated oak, and a wonderfully fragrant bouquet of orchard blossoms and tropical fruit.
